Browser storage
Cookies are small values stored by your browser. Local storage keeps values for a website on that browser. Connecterman uses the following storage for the functions you request.
| Item | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
Authentication cookie__Secure-better-auth.session_token | Keeps you signed in and permits authorized requests. The development version uses the same name without the secure prefix. | Up to 14 days, renewed during active use. Removed on sign out. |
| Sign in flow storage | Temporary authentication or authorization state when a particular sign in flow needs it. | Limited to the relevant flow or session. Server side provider connection requests expire after 10 minutes. |
Company preferenceconnecterman.company.<account id> | Local storage remembers the company you selected on this browser. It contains a company identifier, not footage or a provider token. | Until replaced by another company selection or cleared in the browser. It has no automatic expiry. |
There are no marketing cookies, advertising pixels or third party analytics scripts in this release. Authentication is needed for protected functions. The company preference supports returning to the workspace you selected. We do not treat a visit to this page as consent to unrelated tracking.
Your controls
You can sign out to remove the active authentication cookie. Your browser’s website data settings let you remove Connecterman’s cookies and local storage or prevent their use. Clearing that data may sign you out and reset the selected company. Blocking storage may prevent sign in or other requested functions from working.
If optional analytics or advertising storage is introduced later, it will remain off until any legally required consent has been obtained, with a way to withdraw it. This page will be updated before that change.
Storage on your Mac
The desktop app stores preferences, the selected download folder bookmark, download state and receipts on your Mac. Its sign in credentials are kept in macOS Keychain. Downloaded footage is placed in the folder you choose and remains there until you remove it. These are application files and credentials, rather than browser cookies.
External services
Connecting Google Drive or Frame.io opens the provider’s own authorization page. Cookies used on that provider’s site are governed by its own notice and your choices there. We do not embed those authorization pages or advertising services in Connecterman’s legal pages.
